- 2. We fly the droneUsually around 15 to 30 minutes on site, weather permitting. Nobody goes on your roof and no scaffolding goes up.

What we check
The whole roof, close up, including the parts you can't see from the ground.
- Tiles and slates: Slipped, cracked and missing tiles, and worn slates.
- Ridge and hips: Loose ridge tiles and failed mortar.
- Chimney stacks: Pointing, flaunching, pots and lead flashings.
- Valleys and leadwork: Splits, gaps and lifting lead.
- Flat and bay roofs: Blisters, splits, ponding water and worn coverings.
- Gutters and roofline: Blockages, sagging gutters, fascias and soffits.
- Skylights and dormers: Flashings, seals and the roof around them.
- Moss and storm damage: Build-up that holds water, and damage after high winds.

Is the drone survey really free?
Yes. Every roofing quote comes with a free drone survey where it's suitable, so you can see exactly what we're quoting for. There's no obligation to go ahead.
Do you need scaffolding or ladders?
No. The drone does the looking, so nobody needs to go on your roof and no scaffolding is needed to find the problem. Scaffolding only goes up if you go ahead with the work and it needs it.
Who flies the drone?
Our own licensed, CAA-registered drone pilot, using a DJI Mini 5 Pro that records 4K photos and video.
What if the weather is bad?
Drones can't fly safely in heavy rain or strong wind. If the weather's against us we'll rearrange, or look from the ground and fly when it clears. For an emergency leak, call 07587 415299.
Can I see the photos?
Yes, that's the point. We show you the photos and video and talk you through what we found before we quote.
